Natural Oil Livos ‘KUNOS No. 243’

Product description

The natural oil with which we refine our high-quality wood. The natural wood oil emphasizes the natural grain of the solid wood and offers natural protection for the wood surface.

Dull surfaces can easily be re-oiled. To do this, the wood must be clean and dry. Apply the care oil with a soft, lint-free cloth, let it soak in and polish. Any dirt rims or imprints from glasses can be removed before oiling with a fine abrasive fleece by sanding in the direction of the grain.

 

scope of application

Indoors, for solid woods, eg kitchen worktops, dining tables and window sills as well as multiplex. Can be used to a limited extent for veneers and plywood (see also page 2 – notes). Not suitable for chipboard, stained wood and interior parts of cupboards.

properties

Free from cobalt and terpenes. Emphasizes the structure of the wood grain. After an order matte finish, after 2nd and 3. order semi-gloss. Resistant to saliva and perspiration according to DIN 53 160. Suitable for toys according to DIN EN 71, Part 3. Free from organic chemical compounds according to DIN EN 71 Part 9. Water resistant after 3 coats and 4 weeks full hardening.

dry season

At 23°C and 50% rel. humidity. First coat 24 hours, subsequent coats 12 hours.

Ensure good ventilation during and after processing. Soaked with KUNOS Worktop Oil No. 243

working materials such as B. cleaning rags, polishing pads, sponges, grinding dust etc. with not completely dried

Store the oil in an airtight container or in water until disposal, otherwise there is a risk of self-ignition

because of the vegetable oil content. The liquid and processed product is not self-igniting.

storage

Cool, dry. Shelf life of at least 4 years unopened. Opened products react with oxygen, what with the

skin formation and a rancid odor over time. Decant leftovers into smaller containers.
